Free Admission to Select Colorado State University Events for Disabled Military Veterans, January 3, 2012
Colorado State University is proud to offer free admission to select University performing arts and athletics events for veterans of the U.S. armed forces who have a 50 percent or more disability classification from the Veterans Administration.
CSU asks that eligible disabled veterans bring their verifying documents to the Office of Adult Learner and Veteran Services, located in room 195 of the Lory Student Center. Documents needed for verification include:
- A copy of a DD-214 letter, stating that the individual is a veteran and was honorably discharged;
- A copy of the Veterans Affairs letter stating the percentage of disability. Must be a minimum of 50 percent disability to qualify.
Veterans with a disability of 50 percent or more will be eligible for two tickets (one for themselves and one for their guest) to select performing arts and athletics events at Colorado State. A list of events is available from the Athletics Box Office and the University Center for the Arts Box Office.
