President Frank is the fourth Colorado State University faculty or staff member to be named Citizen of the West. John Matsushima, emeritus professor of animal science, was honored in 2013; Albert C. Yates, 12th president of CSU, was recognized in 2002; and Fum McGraw, the late CSU football legend and former athletics director, was honored with his wife, Brownie, in 1997.
